Roll Perception

Roll Perception is a little piece of 1 bit Pixel Art made for the GB Pixel Art Jam 2023. Therefor it was made with respect to the hardware limitations of the original Game Boy. 

As I'm going to play my first Dungeons & Dragons campaign in a few days I decided to create something D&D themed. The theme of the Art Jam is An Awesome Discovery. In D&D you have to pass a Perception check to discover monsters, traps or treasures ... basically to discover anything. To pass the check you have to roll some dice. So Roll (for) Perception is a typical phrase from a Dungeon Master during a D&D game.

The artwork was inspired by the How to Draw D&D Player Character Portraits video from JP Coovert.
